Robot automation – vividly documented for you here in a variety of successfully completed projects. The examples of the different systems and fields of use will give you an impression of the wide variety of potential applications.
With some 100 robot systems that we put into operation every year, we are exactly the right point of contact for you.
Dairy - Bucket palletising, pallet handling, interlayer handling
The programming of robot systems forms a large proportion of the services offered by Baier Engineering. But as a complete supplier of a plant with safety fence, CE marking, robot PC-based feasibility analysis and numerous services, Baier has made itself an ever stronger name in the industry.
For the dairy in Schrozberg, Baier Engineering supplied the palletising system with robot and belt conveyor, the loading and unloading system, the handling of the pallets and their interlayers. The special feature of this project is that the robot depalletises empty pallets, also handles the interlayers and stacks buckets with different containers using just one gripper. The run-in time of each of the buckets with milk products is approx. 3 seconds. Different tools are required for stacking the different containers (2, 3, 5 or 10 kg). The robot recognises the container and independently selects the necessary tool.
Palletising, handling, loading/unloading, automotive, etc.
BAIER ENGINEERING GmbH offers robot automation systems tailored specially to your needs for both the food and non-food sectors. Using the latest technologies, it is our goal to find the optimum solution for your automation tasks, to lower your costs and boost your productivity. As system integrators for robot applications, we offer partial solutions or everything from a single source – from the project planning through to the implementation, including CE certification and commissioning at your site. This includes, for example, hardware and software engineering, manufacturing, simulations with feasibility analyses, risk assessments, the associated conveyor technology and the protective fencing.

The robot controller aligns the buckets with and without handles fully automatically. Once the robot has stacked the pallet, it transports it fully automatically out of the line.
BMW project
Offline programming (OLP) is the ideal solution for avoiding production downtimes. The program is developed in a simulation and later uploaded to the real robot. Furthermore, great importance is attached to the optimum process flow. In this case for the BMW project with riveting, plasma and laser welding, Fronius welding, gluing and bolting. A high degree of quality and automation was achieved here.
Lützel – CNC machine loading and unloading
At Lützel in Waldstetten, a CNC machine is loaded with a raw part by a robot. After machining, the robot removes the finished part fully automatically and places it onto a conveyor belt or into a crate. In this case, the exact process cannot be shown in full in the film as the customer has asked for confidentiality. Baier Engineering respects the wishes of its customers and attaches the greatest importance to mutual trust.
Hager – loading and unloading of an RAS UpDownBend press brake
Loading and unloading of a press brake, in this case the UpDownBend from RAS, can also be performed and optimised easily and precisely using a robot. The exact adaptation to the machine engineering can also be taken into consideration as far as the position and timescale are concerned. This plant was supplied completely by Baier Engineering, including conveyor belts, protective fencing, robot system and CE conformity.
AMG GT3 Project
Offline and online robot programming for the AMG “Safety Car” project for the Formula 1 – from Baier Engineering, of course! Offline programming (OLP) is the ideal solution for avoiding production downtimes. The program is developed in a simulation and later uploaded to the real robot. Furthermore, great importance is attached to the optimum process flow. In this case for the AMG GT3 project with riveting, plasma and laser welding, Fronius welding, gluing and bolting. A high degree of quality and automation was achieved here.
Wagon
Here you can see the robot system without the workpiece, as we are not allowed to show the active process. It manufactures the body for the Mercedes Benz S-Class with riveting, plasma and laser welding, spot welding, Fronius welding, gluing, bolting, marking and testing. Baier Engineering supplied the offline and online programming.
Dubai
In many projects, Baier Engineering is the worldwide specialist for offline and online programming and key supplier of sophisticated programming solutions, particularly in the automotive sector.
Dubai
For the 43rd anniversary of Dubai, the complete laser show with time code control, including setup, correction, adjustment and thus the entire commissioning on site was carried out by Baier Engineering. The organiser was Sheikh Hamdan, Crown Prince of Dubai.
Our modern technology, well-planned systems and precise needs analysis provide a great deal of scope and leave nothing to be desired.
And always to your benefit:
You lower your costs, increasing productivity and improving your earnings at the same time. In addition, you protect your employees and safeguard yourself loss of labour and production.
